For this reason, we distribute the flagship model of our Swiss partner Traumbad GmbH on the international market under the Nautilus brand. Genesis

The plan was to develop a new, organically shaped tub, to create a kind of sculpture in which it is pleasant to bathe - a symbiosis of art and craft. The idea of the shell shape was born. It quickly became clear, however, that the prevailing, horizontally layered construction method could hardly achieve a satisfying result. This technique severely restricts the design possibilities, as the dominant wooden image quickly competes with the shape of the tub and appears disharmonious. The original prototype, at that time still consisting of 350 parts, was finally further developed into a construction with only 12 arches.
